Sociocracy is a governance system and decision-making method that emphasizes equal participation, consent-based decision-making, and distributed authority.  It aims to create more inclusive and effective organizations by ensuring that everyone’s voice is heard and decisions are made collaboratively.  In sociocracy, power is distributed among circles or teams, each with its own specific domain of authority, and decisions are made through rounds of discussion and consent rather than by a single authority figure. This approach promotes transparency, accountability, and adaptability within organizations, leading to increased efficiency and satisfaction among members.
